Mokokchung, 5 February 2026: Election commission of India la instruction la pursuance opor te, ADC & ERO, Mokokchung pra informed kuri shey sop Booth level officers (BLO) ke strictly direct kuri shey adhere kuribo leh provisions ke Representation of the People Act, 1950 ke, Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, aro sop instructions issued kura Election Commission of India pra time to time te. Sop BLOs khan ke yaad dilai ase ki taikhan ke chuni ase Section 13B (2) of the Representation of the People Act , 1950 under te, aro deemed ase deputation te thakibo leh Election Commission of India ke Section 13CC under te said Act laka, election-related duties discharge kura time te.
Ekta Booth Level officer (BLO) toh liable ase disciplinary action aro penalty karne ekta nahoi opor following grounds te:

  1. Dereliction duty laka election-related responsibilities la discharge opor te.
  2. Negligence nahoi leh due diligence la lack verification te, field work nahoi leh reporting te.
  3. Wilful non-compliance instructions laka Election commission of India pra issued kura.
  4. Unauthorized addition, deletion, shifting nahoi leh electors la transfer.
  5. Incorrect, misleading nahoi leh false information la furnishing.
  6. RP Act, 1950 la violation nahoi leh Registration of Electors Rules, 1940.
  7. Forged nahoi leh fabricated documents la use.
  8. Kila act nahoi leh omission adversely affect kura accuracy, integrity nahoi leh electoral roll la credibility.
  9. Neutrality, integrity aro transparency maintain kuribo leh napara BLO duties kura time te.
