Kokrajhar, 18 November : National Cadet Corps (NCC) aru BTC Sports aru Welfare Department milaikina first-ever national level half marathon competition Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) laga capital city Kokrajhar te organize kurise. “Run for Peace with NCC, Peace City Kokrajhar” theme logo te Sunday din Kokrajhar SAI Stadium te event hobo, aru pura country para participants anibo, peace aru unity promote kuribo karone sports laga maddat para.
Half marathon te runners tin category te participate kurise – 21 km, 10 km aru 5 km – male aru female division dukhute. Total 17 NCC units aru anek sports personalities bhi competition te join kurise.
21km laga event te men’s category te Pankaj Kumar winner hobo, Dipak Bhat second aru Kailash Choudhury third position te ahi bo. Women’s division te Thamsi Singh first place paabo, Amrita Patel second aru Geeta Kumari Gour third position lobo.
10km race te men’s category te Nitish Kumar dominate kuribo, Akash Patel second aru Sandeep Singh third position lobo. Women’s category te KM Sangeeta Pal first place te ahi bo, aru Chandrakala Luitel aru Pahi Keote second aru third position te finish kuribo.
5km event te men’s category te Sukemalang Subas first position te lobo, Amol Dev Nath aru Hitesh Boro second aru third position te ahi bo. Women’s 5km race te Sandhya Yadav first place aru Rehana Khatun aru Deepika Munda second aru third te ahi bo.
