Agriculture Ministry hesab te piyas laga 2017-18 production toh 22.07 million quintal thakishe. Etu toh jua ek saal agote laga 22.47 million quintal para kom ase.
Piyas laga kimat jua moina(month) para 40 percent te gira nimite traders aro farmers purana stock clear koribole rush te ase. Nashik te farmers piyas toh Rs. 2 per kilo laga rate te bikai. Nashik toh desh laga sob se dangor piyas market ase.
Middlemen para piyas toh sob dangor cities laga wholesale markets te ane. Tai khan etu stock toh kilo te Rs. 8 para bikai. Wholesaler, local market retailers khan ke kilo te Rs.12 te bikai.
Etu pichote consumer khan finally kilo te Rs. 20 per para kine.
